CDC consults with the Advisory Council for the Elimination of Tuberculosis (TB) on strategies to eliminate TB in the United States. The Federal TB Task Force convenes as needed for inter-agency federal consultation and information sharing related to TB activities.
Advisory Council for the Elimination of Tuberculosis
The Advisory Council for the Elimination of Tuberculosis (ACET) provides advice and recommendations regarding the elimination of TB to:
- Secretary, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,
- Assistant Secretary for Health, and
- Director, CDC
Federal Tuberculosis Task Force
The Federal TB Task Force is a coalition composed of the federal agencies and organizations involved in U.S. TB elimination efforts.
