The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Advisory Committee (CLIAC) meets virtually on November 9–10 this fall. No registration is required for this public meeting, which will be held using Zoom video conferencing. Find more information on the Upcoming Meeting page of the CLIAC website.

The semiannual CLIAC meetings are an excellent opportunity for laboratory professionals to receive quality and safety updates from CDC, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Presentations for the November meeting will focus on efforts to address laboratory workforce challenges, as well as updates on the clinical and public health response to the ongoing mpox outbreak. Find the complete agenda here, on the CLIAC Meeting page.

CLIAC requests that public comments be submitted by Tuesday, November 8 for this meeting. You can email comments to CLIAC@cdc.gov. Written comments will be included in the meeting Summary Report posted on the CLIAC website.
