Subject: Lab Update: APHL Launches Free Laboratory Biosafety Platform

Dear LOCS members,

The Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) is launching a new communication platform community that serves as a forum for biosafety and biosecurity laboratory professionals called Laboratory Biosafety ColLABorate. This new community is an online listserv engaging both public health professionals and non-public health clinical laboratory representatives in biosafety and biosecurity discussions, providing resources and best practices.

We encourage LOCS members to:

• Consider participation in this platform if they are biosafety professionals
• Review and share the attached Laboratory Biosafety ColLABorate Community poster with their network
