Stephen B. Thacker CDC Library Summer Internship

The Stephen B. Thacker CDC Library Summer Internship is a paid 9-week internship for graduate students and recent graduates in library and information studies who are interested in gaining hands-on experience and learning about library science in a federal public health agency.   Two internship slots are available in 2017.  The stipend for interns will be approximately $800 per week.

To apply for the program, applicants must:
• Be a current graduate student in an ALA-accredited program.External  Individuals who have graduated from an accredited program in the 6-months prior to the start of the internship also are eligible for participation in the internship.
• Be a US citizen or Permanent Resident (with a green card).
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Provide proof of health insurance upon acceptance into the program.
