IIS Technical Guidance
The use of IIS standards such as HL7 and supporting implementation tools continues to be a critical component of achieving and maintaining a fully operational IIS. In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the Immunization Information Systems Branch (ISSB) has developed recommendations, implementation resources, and guidance documents that grantees can use and customize to meet the needs of their IIS technical environment. Visit the Code Sets page for information on code sets and mapping between code sets.
For information on National Health Information Network (NHIN) standards, see NHIN: Overview and NHIN: Resources.
