Current Issue of NMI Notes  Highlights Addition of Nationally Notifiable Conditions Topic Area on CDC WONDER

The Division of Health Informatics and Surveillance recently published the latest issue of NMI Notes, a monthly news update for public health jurisdictions and external partners about the National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System Modernization Initiative (NMI).

The current edition of NMI Notes  includes information on the “Nationally Notifiable Conditions” topic area that has been added to the CDC WONDER web site. Readers can also learn about the latest updates to the Message Validation, Processing, and Provisioning System; including how MVPS is preparing for release of Generic v2 and Hepatitis case notification messages, and the upcoming availability of the Message Evaluation and Testing Service (METS). Additional information in this edition of NMI Notes includes upcoming NMI eSHARE events and NMI pilot jurisdiction updates.
