Ms. Roberson has been a practicing cytotechnologist for 35 years at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Active on numerous committees, she is currently a member of the Executive Board for the American Society of Cytopathology; an American Society for Cytotechnology legislative consultant; and chair of the Board of Certification Committee for Cytotechnology of the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Ms. Roberson has been involved in cervical cancer screening projects in multiple countries. She is the author of numerous publications addressing topics covering laboratory design, cytotechnology workforce, laboratory inspections, and the HIPAA regulations.
