As founder of the nonprofit patient safety organization Nile’s Project, Ms. Moss works to improve patient safety and public health awareness of hospital and community-acquired infections, and advocates for the advancement of rapid detection tests and accurate treatment protocols. Recently, Nile’s Project was awarded a CDC honor award for Excellence in Partnering. After serving on the California Hospital Acquired Infection Advisory Committee, she continues to work as a subject matter expert on three of its subcommittees focused on antibiotic stewardship, environmental cleaning, and public awareness and reporting.
