This bar chart shows the percentage of Americans living with HIV that fall within each stage of HIV care. Specifically, the chart shows that 82% of Americans living with HIV are diagnosed, 66% are linked to care, 37% are retained in care, 33% are prescribed ART, and 25% are virally suppressed.

African Americans are least likely to be in ongoing care or to have their virus under control.
