Mystic Seaport, CT Since 1991, the state of Connecticut has received funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to use for childhood lead poisoning prevention activities. In fiscal year 2008, the state of Connecticut received $860,757 in direct funds for these efforts.
