Eligibility
You must be
- A medical or veterinary student in your 2nd or 3rd year when you apply
- Enrolled in a school accredited by the
- Liaison Committee on Medical Education
- American Osteopathic Association
- American Veterinary Medical Association
- Covered by medical insurance during the fellowship
- A U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Application Process
The application period has closed. Applications for next year will be accepted in February.
Letters of Recommendation
- Submit 2 letters of recommendation.
- Select individuals familiar with your academic or professional activities who can comment on the traits and accomplishments that distinguish you as a good candidate for this fellowship.
- Provide them with a copy of the Hubert Fellowship Letter of Recommendation
(82 KB; 2 pages).
Academic Endorsement
- Download the Academic Endorsement
(29 KB; 1 page). - Completed and signed form by the student affairs office at your medical or veterinary school.
