Eligibility

You must be

• A medical or veterinary student in your 2nd or 3rd year when you apply
• Enrolled in a school accredited by the
  • Liaison Committee on Medical Education
  • American Osteopathic Association
  • American Veterinary Medical Association
• Covered by medical insurance during the fellowship
• A U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Application Process

The application period has closed. Applications for next year will be accepted in February.

 

Letters of Recommendation

• Submit 2 letters of recommendation.
• Select individuals familiar with your academic or professional activities who can comment on the traits and accomplishments that distinguish you as a good candidate for this fellowship.
• Provide them with a copy of the Hubert Fellowship Letter of Recommendation (82 KB; 2 pages). 

 

Academic Endorsement

• Download the Academic Endorsement (29 KB; 1 page).
• Completed and signed form by the student affairs office at your medical or veterinary school.
