Deciding Which Issue to Address
Determine the most important issue for your population. Make sure it lines up with the purpose of your Youth Advisory Councils (YACs) and is an important problem for the population you want to help.
Examples Of Youth Advisory Council Issues:
- Increase the availability of reproductive health services for youth in your school district.
- Make sure youth have a voice in deciding where and how the district provides such health services.
- Provide input on student mental health services to ensure that they are meeting the needs of youth.
