Socioenvironmental Maps—High School Education

Counties with the highest percentage without a high school diploma for 2007-2011 were located primarily in southwestern Texas, central California the Lower Mississippi River area, the Appalachian Regions of Kentucky and West Virginia, and rural Alabama and Georgia. The range in the percentage of the population ages 25 and older with less than a high school degree was between 1.4% and 53.7%.
