Epi Info™ Previous Versions

The Epi Info™ releases provided below are currently available for download. Please note that Epi Info™ versions prior to 3.5.1 are not Windows Vista compatible, this includes all Epi Info™ DOS versions. It is highly recommended that all users download the latest version of Epi Info™.

Note:  For Windows XP, Epi Info™ requires “Windows XP Service Pack 3”External to be installed before Epi Info™ is installed.

For Windows Vista or Windows 7, Epi Info™ requires the “DHTML Editing Control for Applications”External to be installed. After installing Epi Info™, the installer for the DHTML Editing Control can be found in the Epi Info™ installation folder as “DHTMLEd.msi”.

Version Upgrading

For Windows 98, NT 4.0, 2000 or XP: Before installing the current version of Epi Info™, remove any Epi Info™ version prior to 3.3. If you have Epi Info™ 3.3 (or later) installed on your machine, this current version can be installed over it.

For Windows Vista: Before installing this current version of Epi Info™, remove any pre-existing version of Epi Info™ that may be installed.

Version 3.4.3 fixed numerous bugs and improved program use and functionality.

Epi Info™ CD image — This is a graphic image that can be used to create labels for the CD or DVD of the Epi Info™ software for distribution to classes or conferences.

Epi Info™ For MS-DOS
Epi Info™ 6.04d

Download  Released: January, 2001
Version 6.04d is the last version for DOS that is available. This version includes fixes for the Year 2000 compatibility bug, allowing all four digits of a year to be stored. This version is not compatible with 64-bit Windows operating systems.
