Alzheimer’s Disease Public Health Curriculum
An introductory curriculum that is intended to increase awareness of the impact of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias as well as the role of public health. It addresses cognitive health, cognitive impairment, and Alzheimer’s disease and is intended for use by undergraduate faculty in schools and programs of public health and other related disciplines.
Dementia Caregiving: The Role for Public Health Strategists
Public health leaders increasingly serve as their states or region’s chief health strategist and are charged with protecting residents from health threats and improving the health and well-being of populations in an equitable way. Health strategists can build a community infrastructure that promotes dementia caregiving throughout health care systems, workplaces, and communities.
