DMI Priorities

DMI priorities: building the right foundation; accelerating data into action; developing a state-of-the-art workforce; supporting and extending partnerships; managing change and governance

DMI lays out five key priorities that will strengthen and unify critical public health data across our nation to better serve the American people. These priorities are interconnected, and all are equally important to reaching the future state.

As we work toward these priorities, our efforts will continue to align with the work of our public health and healthcare partners who have been critical in supporting, shaping, and executing DMI, as well as with key federal policies and strategies.
