Federal Statistics on Health Insurance Coverage: Technical Meeting on Methods Used in Household Surveys

The National Center for Health Statistics and the U.S. Census Bureau hosted a panel discussion on the federal statistical community’s measurement of health insurance coverage. The meeting was held Monday, August 18, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the City View Room at George Washington University, 1957 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20052.

Presenters from each agency provided information about the sources of health insurance coverage data. They discussed survey measurement of health insurance coverage, and recent changes to data systems designed to accurately reflect a change in the health insurance market. Each agency also reviewed upcoming data releases.
