CDC Annual Program Results 2021 – Social Media Toolkit

Since 2003, the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) has helped save more than 21 million lives. As a key implementer of PEPFAR, CDC plays a unique role – bringing a combination of scientific and technical expertise and on-the-ground experience to bear in the fight against the world’s two deadliest infectious diseases – HIV and TB. The data show that, in 2021, even in the midst of a global pandemic, CDC’s global efforts to treat and prevent HIV contributed to more than 50 percent of key* PEPFAR outcomes aimed at ending HIV worldwide.

In commemoration of this progress, we are excited to share  with you a suite of social media cards, captions and film that highlight the impact CDC and partners are having on the frontlines of the global HIV response, as part of PEPFAR, and the people and stories behind the data.

Below you will find a range of compelling and easily downloadable resources that you can use on your platforms to highlight the urgency and impact of the global fight against HIV and TB. To learn more, visit CDC on the Frontlines.
