Opioid Overdose Prevention Microsite

The Opioid Overdose Prevention Microsite is designed to plug into your website so you can offer science-based CDC content directly to your audiences.

What Is a Microsite?

The Opioid Overdose Prevention Microsite is a customizable version of select pages from CDC’s broader Opioid Overdose website. The microsite includes links to current opioid data, resources, and trainings related to the CDC Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain.

How does it work?

Content syndication allows CDC to offer web content to other sites. With just a few lines of code that we provide, the microsite appears like a module within your website. The microsite integrates seamlessly so it works like part of your website, and it stays up-to-date with trusted science-based information from CDC.

What are the benefits?

Adding a small amount of code on your page integrates CDC content with your content, and provides you with these advantages:

  • Automatically updates your page whenever CDC updates content
  • Keeps visitors on your website
  • Allows you to maintain the look-and-feel of your site while supplementing local information with relevant information from CDC

How do I get the Opioid Overdose Prevention microsite on my website?

Visit the CDC Public Health Media Library to see a preview of the microsite and to get the embed code (this is what you will need to add the microsite to your website).
