Purpose: he objectives of this CASPER were to determine the level of preparedness of Milwaukee households in the event of an extreme heat event, assess household vulnerabilities to heat, determine the ways in which Milwaukee residents obtain public health emergency information such as extreme heat advisory warnings, and use the results to make changes to policies, procedures, and communication practices to mitigate heat-related health impact
