摘要

简介
缺乏基于人口的可靠数据,特别是发病率数据,是发展中国家预防和控制慢性疾病的一大障碍。我们报告了东南亚主要慢性疾病的自报流行程度,并调查流行程度与某些成年人社会人口统计变量之间的关系。

方法
我们对的数据来自2005年对5个亚洲国家中的8个网站跨站研究,该研究调查了年龄在25至64岁之间的18,484名人员。在调查中询问调查对象是否被医护人员告知患有以下七种慢性疾病的任何一种:关节问题、中风、心脏病、糖尿病、肺病、高血压或癌症。同时获得参与者性别、年龄和教育程度的相关信息。

结果
我们发现有22.7%的男性和31.6%的女性报告至少患有1种慢性疾病,有5.1%的男性和9.2%的女性报告患有2种或2种以上的慢性疾病。经多元回归分析显示,女性比男性患有更多慢性疾病、慢性疾病的流行程度随年龄增加而增长、教育程度低的人更有可能患有慢性疾病。

结论
慢性疾病是亚洲国家的成年人普遍报告的疾病。慢性疾病流行程度在性别和教育程度方面的差异很明显。
