摘要

少数种族和族裔社区需要参与制定健康信息,以确保其文化适当性、提高其被接受程度并促进采取健康行为。国立卫生院的国立心、肺和血液研究所(National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute)将拉丁美洲人的心脏健康课程,纳入了针对美国印第安人/阿拉斯加原住民、非洲裔美国人和菲律宾人的文化适当性课程。从这一流程得到的经验和教训,可以协助相关公共卫生执业人员将依据科学的心脏健康信息纳入实用健康教育信息,满足多元化群体的文化和背景需要。
