摘要

簡介
缺乏基於人口的可靠資料,特別是發病率資料,是發展中國家預防和控制慢性疾病的一大障礙。我們報告了東南亞主要慢性疾病的自報流行程度,並調查流行程度與某些成年人社會人口統計變數之間的關係。

方法
我們對的資料來自2005年對5個亞洲國家中的8個網站跨站研究,該研究調查了年齡在25至64歲之間的18,484名人員。在調查中詢問調查對象是否被醫護人員告知患有以下七種慢性疾病的任何一種:關節問題、中風、心臟病、糖尿病、肺病、高血壓或癌症。同時獲得參與者性別、年齡和教育程度的相關資訊。

結果
我們發現有22.7%的男性和31.6%的女性報告至少患有1種慢性疾病,有5.1%的男性和9.2%的女性報告患有2種或2種以上的慢性疾病。經多元回歸分析顯示,女性比男性患有更多慢性疾病、慢性疾病的流行程度隨年齡增加而增長、教育程度低的人更有可能患有慢性疾病。

結論
慢性疾病是亞洲國家的成年人普遍報告的疾病。慢性疾病流行程度在性別和教育程度方面的差異很明顯。
