Erratum: Vol. 51, No. 47

In the Notice to Readers, "World AIDS Day, December 1, 2002," an error occurred in the fifth paragraph, second column on page 1074. The first sentence should read, "At the end of 2001, an estimated 850,000--950,000 persons in the United States (4) and 40 million persons worldwide were living with HIV/AIDS." Reference 4 should read, "Fleming P, Byers RH, Sweeney PA, Daniels D, Karon JM, Janssen RS. HIV prevalence in the United States, 2000 [Abstract].
