ELI is paused for 2024. Please check back in Fall 2024 for updates to apply to ELI 2025.

Public health professionals responsible for developing training products at state, local, territorial, or tribal health departments across the United States are encouraged to apply. University and hospital teaching professionals who are involved in public health are also encouraged to apply. Successful applicants must demonstrate how their organization and the broader public health community will benefit from the ELI Fellowship applied training.

Review the boxes below to determine your eligibility. If you meet the required criteria, you are eligible to apply. Note that applications that meet the recommended criteria may be preferred.

Required

  • Are you a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, currently living in the U.S.?
    (Currently only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible to apply.)
  • Will your organization allow your course to be posted on TRAIN (National, state level or CDC TRAIN)?
  • Do you teach public health topics or create public health training materials?
  • Do you want to learn effective techniques and best practices for online public health training?

Recommended

  • Do you consider yourself to be at a beginner to intermediate level of instructional design for public health?
