COVID-19 Update

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, the 2020 STD Prevention Conference Planning Committee is assessing developments daily to make certain we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of attendees, exhibitors, speakers and staff; including the guidance and recommended safety measures issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Georgia Department of Health.

At this time, the 2020 STD Prevention Conference will take place in person as planned, September 14-17, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia. In case they are needed, we are also considering virtual options to ensure that attendees get the education they expect from the 2020 STD Prevention Conference while safeguarding health and contributing to the containment of COVID-19. This is a developing situation and contingency planning is in effect to prepare for circumstances that could dramatically impact the viability of the 2020 STD Prevention Conference. More details and information will be communicated when available.
