CDC and our governmental partners at the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, located in the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), have diverse programs aimed at improving health in rural America. Some public health interventions and success stories are below.
The Community Guide
The Community Guide is a collection of evidence-based findings of the Community Preventative Services Task Force. Coordinated by CDC, the Community Guide can help resource-limited areas, such as rural jurisdictions, identify the best interventions to improve health and prevent disease.
