The data linkage activities use direct and indirect identifiers to link NCHS surveys in other data sources. Use the following links to see what restricted variables are available through these special data products.

Mortality
The mortality files have been linked to a variety of different NCHS surveys. Choose the survey you are interested in and look for the list of restricted variables under “Data Files”.

Medicare Enrollment and Claims Files
