Health departments can seek accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) to signify they are meeting national public health standards. Get accredited! Prepare your health department for accreditation—or reaccreditation—with helpful resources from CDC, PHAB, and other public health partners. 95% of accredited health departments said accreditation stimulates quality & performance improvement opportunities.
