As of here, laboratory testing data from one commercial laboratory for the period 7-16-2022 through 9-25-2022 have been updated, and data subsequent to 9-25-2022 have been added. The number of tests and test positivity rates reported may differ from previously published results.

Data from Laboratory Response Network laboratories and 4 commercial laboratories using the CDC non-variola orthopoxvirus assay and one commercial laboratory using a non-variola orthopoxvirus and mpox multiplex assay where patient state information was provided. If patient state was missing, provider state was used if available.
A week is defined as Sunday through Saturday. The “current week” reflects tests from the last full week preceding the date the data were updated.
Line-listed data replaced aggregate data for one commercial laboratory beginning with the week ending 7-16-2022. This resulted in updates to the number of specimens tested during these weeks.
