The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program at CDC brings the best and brightest into public service. It is the federal government’s premiere pathway for moving advanced degree graduates into government leadership positions. This 2-year program provides a skills-based curriculum that combines on-the-job training with classroom-based learning and mentorship. Fellows and alumni have made significant contributions to public health at CDC and across federal agencies. Featuring fellows from 2020 and 2021 classes.
Victoria Phifer, MPH is a 2015 alum of the Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program at CDC. Victoria worked as a Public Health Analyst in CDC’s Washington, D.C. office. She completed two rotations as part of her fellowship, one in CDC’s Office of the Associate Director for Policy and Strategy, and one with a national non-profit organization. She also served as the liaison for PMF leadership, where she helped improve the program, implement community service, and mentor incoming fellows. Victoria currently serves CDC as a Health Equity Officer for the Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services.

Meet AdeSubomi Adeyemo, an alumnus of the #CDC Presidential Management Fellowship (Class of 2017). As a fellow, AdeSubomi worked as a #PublicHealth Analyst in CDC’s Division of Global HIV and TB. She used her #epidemiology background to support supply chain and HIV treatment programs in Uganda—ensuring that persons living with HIV have access to optimal first line regimens.
