NSSP Adds Parameters to Data Quality Tab

The NSSP–ESSENCE Web application’s Data Quality tab has been updated to include additional parameters for completeness and validity metrics for two data sources: Facility Location (Full Details) and Facility Location (limited by HHS Region). Each NSSP–ESSENCE parameter is viewable by facility or HHS Region and covers completeness and validity percentages for a given date range. Users can calculate completeness and validity metrics for a day, week, month, quarter, or year. Percentage levels are color-coded to highlight differences when making comparisons.

Shown above is a screen shot of the revised DQ Configuration page. The new parameters vary by data source and data quality metric but have been expanded to include Admit Reason, C_Patient_Class, Clinical Impression, Disposition Category, Discharge Date, Ethnicity, Facility Type Code, Patient Class, Race, Triage Notes, and Trigger Events.
