Meetings

The NORA Musculoskeletal Health Council meets at least four times per year using virtual meeting software. Workgroups meet more frequently during the year, usually by teleconference.

April 1, 2019                       2:00-2:30 pm ET (Virtual meeting)

  • Co-chair’s introduction and roll-call
  • Report presentation of MUS agenda poster at Applied Ergonomics Conference
  • Report discussions during meetings of three workgroups (intervention; technology/risk assessment; and surveillance/impact) for addressing agenda objectives
  • Discuss workgroups’ proposed plans on future council activities/products and determine how the council can execute the plans
  • Set up the next meeting and wrap up

  • Introduction of how to response to public review comments on research agenda per NIOSH’s OD examples
  • Co-chair’s overview of public comments
  • Co-Chair leads group discussion for writing up the response to the comments
  • Discussion about various responses
  • Discussion of a need for slight revision to agenda
  • Set timeline for submitting council’s response and revision to agenda
  • Wrap up

  • Co-chair’s introduction and roll-call
  • Co-chair’s announcement of recently published research agenda
  • Co-Chair’s summary on selection of workgroups by council members
  • Discuss the proposed plan on three workgroups for accomplishing three grouped objectives of the research agenda: (1) intervention, (2) technology and risk assessment; and (3) surveillance and impact
  • Discuss how to divide the council into the workgroups for accomplishing selected goals
  • Discuss about future council activities and research products
  • Wrap up
