Adolescent Workers: Prevention of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses
DRAFT DOCUMENT
This is a draft document meant for review only. Do not cite this document.
Sally is a 17 year old previously healthy female who has developed migraine around the same time she started school while continuing to work 3 nights a week at the factory. Her migraine and fatigue are likely secondary to stress (juggling school and work) and long night work hours that have disrupted her sleep schedule. Her work schedule and lack of sleep may have contributed to her injury. Her burn has not been adequately treated implying she has no time to look after herself.
