Other Prevention Measures
- Put up a poster in the waiting room instructing young patients to tell their provider about any workplace injuries.
- Encourage adolescents to talk to other adults (parents, co-workers, teachers) about any concerns they have.
- Discuss medications that can make patients drowsy at work.
- Have flyers and resources available to share with teens and their families.
