Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS)

Has Been Told They Have CVD (Stroke, Heart Attack, or CHD/Angina)§  2013 BRFSS, 21 States

The following tables show the percent of survey respondents who have been told they have CVD, by industry and by occupation. We produced these tables using the 2013 BRFSS Industry and Occupation Module data, a non-public dataset. To collect important demographic information for employed adults, the CDC’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) sponsored the BRFSS industry and occupation (I&O) optional module for years 2013–2017. We analyzed the survey responses in SAS 9.3 using the SURVEYFREQ procedure.

Estimates with a coefficient of variation >50% or that are based on cell sizes of ≤10 are not shown as they do not meet NCHS standards of reliability/precision.
