The National Occupational Injury Research Symposium (NOIRS), brings together occupational injury researchers and practitioners to present and discuss their findings, methods, and practices. NOIRS is the only meeting of its kind conducted in the United States.
The first NOIRS was held in October 1997, in Morgantown, West Virginia. NOIRS 2000, 2003, and 2008 convened in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The fifth symposium (NOIRS 2011) returned to Morgantown, West Virginia. The sixth meeting (NOIRS 2015) was held in Kingwood, West Virginia on May 19-21, 2015
