NIOSH Prevention through Design Strategic Goals

Goal 4.0: Business leaders, labor, academics, government entities and standard-developing and setting organizations endorse a culture that includes PtD principles in all designs affecting workers.

Intermediate Goal 4.4: Worker health and safety methods are included in sustainable design and construction practices.

4.4.4 Partner with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) to evaluate the potential for including elements to protect worker health and safety into the AIA Integrated Project Delivery Guidelines and Sustainability Resource Center.
