Abstract
This document has been superseded and the new version can be found <a href="https://www.cpwr.com/wp-content/uploads/publications/42-Preventing-Falls-from-Scaffolding-CPWR_0.pdf"target="_blank">here</a>. When scaffolds are not upright or used properly, falls can occur. Protecting workers from scaffold-related accidents would prevent many deaths and more than 4,000 injuries each year.
