Hydroxyl radical yields from reactions of ozone with terpene mixtures.

The data generated in the POC/O3 experiments indicates that during an actual cleaning event, the concentration of OH· produced could increase the background OH· concentration of 1.23 × 105 molecules cm3 (Sarwar, 2002). This increased OH· concentration could result in additional VOC/OH· chemistry which could further increase the formation of oxygenated organic compounds and impact building occupant exposures.
