MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) can live on surfaces. Sharing personal items can spread MRSA. At work: Don't share towels, clothing, or water bottles. At home: Don't share razors or toothbrushes and be cautious about sharing bars of soap, towels, washcloths, or clothing.
