NIOSH 508 - Loss Control Mangement Course Objectives. At the conclusion of this course the trainee will be able to: 1. Identify situation that have the potential to cause injury, death, or property loss. 2. Evaluate existing conditions that have the potential for loss and subsequently determine the effects such losses have on the facility. 3. Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to prevent and control losses due to human and mechanical factors.
