Some observations on experimental fires in enclosures. Part II - ethyl alcohol and paraffin oil.
Combust Flame 1972 Dec; 19(3):363-371
Results are presented for burning rates, temperatures, and gaseous products for experimental fires of ethyl alcohol and paraffin oil in a 0.2m3 partially ventilated enclosure. Four regions, similar to those found for wood fires, can be characterized. A critical condition, very similar to wood fires, corresponding to extreme danger, can be identified by an equation presented in this article.
