Health care providers are often required to determine if factors such as ergonomics play a role in the etiology of injuries. Proper intervention and treatment is essential to successful resolution of work related injuries. Of equal importance is addressing the prevention of these musculoskeletal injuries. This session will identify important aspects of injury etiology, prevention, exposure assessment methods, and interventions as identified through research, which the health care provider will be able to apply to their clinical practices.
