This compact disc (CD) contains a selection of databases and documents that are available on the NIOSH website (<a href="https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/"target="_blank">https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/</a>). In addition, this CD contains the OSHA Sampling & Analytical Methods and the 2000 Emergency Response Guidebook, which are available on the OSHA website (<a href="http://www.osha.gov/"target="_blank">http://www.osha.gov/</a>) and the Department of Transportation website (<a href="http://phmsa.dot.gov/hazmat"target="_blank">http://phmsa.dot.gov/hazmat</a>), respectively. The major advantage of accessing the files on this CD is that an Internet connection is not needed, and the software applications required for this CD are the same as those commonly used for Internet access.
