This compact disc contains a selection of databases and documents that are available on the NIOSH website (<a href="https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/"target="_blank">https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/</a>). In addition, this CD contains the 1996 North American Emergency Response Guidebook, which is available on the Department of Transportation website (<a href="http://hazmat.dot.gov/"target="_blank">http://hazmat.dot.gov/</a>). The major advantage of accessing the files on this CD is that an Internet connection is not needed, and the software applications required for this CD are the same as those commonly used for Internet access.
