Human subjects selection for testing gas detectors and respirators.

The purpose of this contract was to provide properly screened human subjects as required by The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to participate in two NIOSH testing and certification programs at the Morgantown facility: (1) gas detector tube certification program, and (2) respirator facepiece fit certification program. the contractor designed and implemented the methodological procedures to screen subjects and to supply them to NIOSH as required by the two programs. Complete subject pools for both programs were established and subjects were provided to NIOSH throughout the contract year upon request by the NIOSH project officer.
