Teleoperated cutting and haulage for thin coal seams.

Work conducted by the U.S. Bureau of Mines has demonstrated that teleoperation is a viable method to remotely operate mining systems safely and effectively. Teleoperation has been successfully tried in a new highwall mining system and appears promising for a deep mining application under development.
