Abstract
The objective of this project is to initiate a research program to investigate the basic processes involved in the in situ combustion method. It is intended to employ the diagnostic methods normally used in flame dynamics research to study the fundamental physicochemical processes in the flame front movement in the in situ combustion technique of enhanced oil recovery methods.
