Abstract
The application of all types of geophysical methods in mining has become more sophisticated over the last decade. This U.S. Bureau of Mines article discusses the availability of relatively low cost, fast microcomputers, either inboard, hardwired, or connected by transportable data storage media to the sensors. These advances have made onsite processing feasible, user friendly, and relatively low cost.
